Réja Gems is a private jeweler’s business founded by a fifth-generation jeweler based in New Delhi. The story dates back to the late 1800s, a time when the magnificence and grandeur of the Maharaja’s was unfathomable. It was in their service that our previous generations built their legacy and established
themselves as jewelers to the ‘great kings of India. "Our workshop continues to have craftsmen, stone cutters, and artisans who have passed on their trade from one generation to the next; the heritage is manifested in each piece of jewelry that is aesthetically unique. Furthermore, we source and trade important certified gemstones, antique handicrafts, and ancient Indian miniature paintings and manuscripts. To protect the privacy of our customers and maintain exclusivity, we do not advertise extensively on social media platforms. We work by appointment only."
Rhea Jain, a fifth-generation jeweler hailing from New Delhi, is the creative force behind Reja Gems. In 2017, she graduated from New York University with an undergraduate degree in Art History, and concurrently completed the prestigious Graduate Gemologist course at the Gemological Institute of America in New York. Fueling her passion for art and jewelry, Rhea expanded her knowledge by undertaking the 'Art and Business' course at the Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London in 2021.
Under the mentorship of her maternal grandfather, Surendra Jain Johri, Rhea underwent extensive training, culminating in the establishment of her own jewelry brand, Reja Gems, in 2018. Since then, she has consistently crafted exceptional, one-of-a-kind pieces that reflect her artistic vision and commitment to the craft.
